If you have not set up your custom domain name that includes the WWW you should follow these instructions. The instructions below are in addition to setting up a WWW domain CNAME record.
When a user enters in their browser your website URL many times they will enter the URL and not include the WWW such as www.mystite.com instead will enter mysite.com. This is called a naked URL a URL that does include the WWW.
To set up a naked URL you need to add an 'A' record at your domain name provider.
Use these settings in your 'A record
TTL: How long the server should cache information. The default setting is 1 hour
The image below demonstrates adding an 'A' record on GoDaddy.
Note: The IP given could change in time such as in a system overhaul. If you find that your naked URL stops working you can check to see if the IP has been changed. If the IP has changed. You will need to update the 'A' record you created with the new IP address.
How to get the updated IP address (This will only be done in the very rare occurrence the IP address changes in the future)
3. In the Command prompt type " ping prod-lb.ploud.app"
4.) The result will display the current IP address as in this case you will see 18.104.22.168
