Adding Atrium Catalog Search To Your Site (Texas Libraries Only)

Modified on Mon, 26 Sep, 2016 at 4:48 PM

Many of our libraries use third party catalog search engines to search their online library catalog. If you are a Texas library and use the Atrium catalog search, use the attached HTML code within your WYSIWYG Editor on your pages. This code has been optimized for the Ploud themes and their colors to have a more consistent look and feel than bringing the code in directly from the Atrium system.

  1. Make sure you are logged into your website.
  2. Navigate to the web page where you wish to place the catalog search and click the Edit tab.

  3. In the WYSIWYG editor's Menu of the Text field, Select Tools -> <> Source Code.

  4. Find the place in the HTML source code where you want to paste the Catalog Search HTML code and cut and paste the code in the attached HTMLsnippent.txt. You can click on the attachment below to see the code you need to copy.

  5. Click Save.

  6. You should see the catalog search formatted similar to the following screenshot.

  7. Use the pulldown and keyword field to test the catalog search.
